just a few close ups of the finished paintings, large canvas work will be commencing shortly, just as soon as i buy the darn things, managed to find some cheap ones in Leeds City Centre, probably not the best quality but they'll get the job done

ive just found some of my first year pieces from southport have been wrecked by a small leak in my garage due to recent showers :( , ive managed to rescue a few pieces but due to a lack of funds at the moment im recycling most of my canvases anyway, they were a bit rubbish if im honest, looking back at them now i wouldnt really want exhibit them again anyway,,,,,nevermind

managed to find packs of small canvases for dead cheap so thought id get busy with making these, if i can find longer ones il try and make full size versions

these are just a few things i did in my old studio space, most of the things ended up in my degree show where i displayed a number of paintings and recreated my studio space to try and show how the artist will work under any conditions, evan if its above a car park.

If you didnt already know my names david but my friends call me hopey. Ive been born and raised in my home city of Leeds but I graduated from Liverpool JohnMoores University in 2008 where i studied Fine Art, studying at Southport College for my first year.

Since then ive been trying to keep myself sane by painting and drawing and filling my sketch books with collected stuff. il be updating this as often as i can and if anyone out there is on myspace you can find me on there as well.
